Project Title: Investigation of Sequence-Structure Relationships in Interphase Chromatin

Summary: I study how the three-dimensional organization of the genome shapes gene regulation, how disruptions to this architecture can contribute to human disease, and how we can improve sparse, low-coverage 3D sequencing data in a way that stays physically consistent with the behavior of chromatin as a polymer, so that the recovered features (compartments, domains, and loops) remain interpretable.
