Earlier this year, Prof. Dorothee Dormann, our Vice-Spokesperson, met with the Spiegel Best-Selling Author, Nina Ruge, to discuss Prof. Dormann’s research into the molecular basis of the neurodegenerative diseases amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD), new starting points for therapies and the importance of her work for a better understanding of other forms of dementia.

Prof. Dormann was also interviewed by Nina Ruge, with regard to the ARDD 2023 Congress in the video below.

Furthermore, the SFB1551 supported the production of the video from Nina Ruge’s talk/podium discussion in June 2023 in Mainz, where she discussed the latest findings in ageing research and their significance with Prof. Dormann.
