Project Title: Role of BRD4 in transcriptional regulation

Summary: We investigate how BRD4 isoforms contribute to the formation, and composition of transcriptional condensates. We analyze how isoform specific perturbations and pharmacological treatments influence condensate properties and the localization of key transcriptional regulators. Additionally we address how perturbations of individual BRD4 isoforms and pharmacological treatments affect gene expression programs and chromatin binding profiles on a genome wide level.
