Project Title: The effect of chromatin organization on the formation of transcriptional condensates

Summary: My Postdoc research focuses on applying nanopore long-read sequencing and functional genomics to investigate complex regulatory variation and disease mechanisms. I have worked on integrating multi-omics approaches, including Hi-C and Pore-C, to study chromatin architecture and genome organization in disease models such as 16p11.2 microduplication syndrome using patient-derived iPSCs and neural progenitor cells. In parallel, I have investigated how mechanical forces influence three-dimensional genome organization and DNA integrity using C. elegans as a model system.
