Project Title: Characterization and Pharmacological Modulation of C-bodies in AML
Summary: I study the composition and topological dynamics of transcriptional condensates specific to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Working alongside synthetic chemists, we rationally design novel targeted therapies to disrupt these leukemic hubs. My role encompasses the entire biological evaluation pipeline: I utilize recombinant protein purification alongside a suite of biophysical techniques (FP, SPR, ITC, TR-FRET) to extract precise thermodynamic binding profiles. I then translate these findings in cellulo by engineering stable leukemia suspension models, utilizing advanced suspension-cell immunofluorescence and spatial statistics to quantify compound-driven phenotypic modulation.
