SUMMARY:Joint SFB1361 & SFB 1551 Seminar - Prof. Robert Grosse
DESCRIPTION:“Actin up on nuclear steroid hormone receptors” \nProf. Robert Grosse (University of Freiburg\, Germany) \nWe are happy to announce the joint SFB 1361 & SFB 1551 Seminar on Thursday\, 16 April 2026 at 12:00 h. \nThe seminar will take place onsite in IMB’s Seminar room and will be followed by Pizza & Networking on the balcony. \nIn his talk\, Prof. Grosse will present current and ongoing research from his lab on how nuclear actin assembly regulates steroid hormone receptor function and transcription. He will talk about how different actin regulators control distinct steroid receptors for nuclear organisation and discuss the impact for diseases.\nYou will find a list of his recent publications here.
