We are excited to announce the SFB1551 RDM Week 2026!
To register, please select an event from the list below.
Monday, 4 May – Friday, 8 May 2026 | 09:00–12:00 each day
Join us for a full week dedicated to research data management — practical, relevant, and designed to fit directly into your everyday research workflows, whether you work in the lab or at the computer.
Each day follows a clear structure: a focused expert talk in the morning, followed by a guided hands-on session where you can work on your Data Management Plan or other RDM topics relevant to your project.
Programme structure
09:00–09:45 — Expert talk
10:00–12:00 — Hands-on session
Format
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are held in hybrid format. Tuesday is virtual only. Joining details will be sent to registered participants.
What to expect
The expert talks cover tools and practices central to modern research data management — from electronic lab notebooks and version control to data protection, image data management, and computational workflows. Each talk is self-contained and applicable to your daily research practice.
The hands-on sessions provide dedicated time and direct support to make concrete progress on your DMP or other outstanding RDM tasks.
Open to everyone
The expert talks are open to the public. If you are a researcher looking to improve your data management practices — or simply curious about the topic — you are very welcome to join.
Registration
Please note that registration is required per event. If you would like to attend multiple talks or hands-on sessions, you will need to register for each one separately.
For SFB1551 IRTG doctoral researchers: attendance of the expert talks can count towards up to 5 credited hours.
