Project Title: Unraveling multivalent interaction in the pre-synapse

Summary: We aim to understand how scaffold proteins organize the active zone in synapses and drive synaptic vesicle recruitment through phase separation. This research is critical for unraveling the mechanisms behind efficient signal transmission in neurons. To address this, we combine computational simulations and mean-field modeling to study protein interactions, phase behavior, and condensate dynamics.
