Project Title: Role of RS protein phase separation in light-regulated alternative splicing in plants

Summary: I study protein complex formation of RS proteins, which act as regulators of alternative splicing (AS) in plant cells. Within this project I aim to gain further insights into the function of RS phase separation in controlling AS during light-dependent seedling development. I am also interested in the role of phosphorylation events in RS protein condensation processes.
