Project Title: Investigation of the structure of the IM30 protein by vibrational spectroscopy

Summary: The 30 kDa inner membrane protein, IM30, is a thylakoid membrane protein that plays an essential role in photosynthesis and biogenesis. In vivo, it exhibits unique interactions with membranes, including carpet-like formations and localized puncta at their interface. We use vibrational spectroscopic techniques to reveal the structure of IM30 during these processes.
