Project Title: Covalent and non-covalent polymer scaffolds for reversible conjugation of RBPs and their multivalent binding with RNA
Summary: The goal of this research project is to establish polymeric scaffolds bearing recognition motifs for noncovalent heteroternary complexation within cucurbit[8]urils. These complexes can be used for reversible bioconjugation and therefore shall be invastigated in regards to the efficiency of the binding of quasi RNA recognition motifs (qRRMs) to polymeric systems to later on further analyze multivalent binding with RNA.
