Project Title: Functions of Ubiquitin and SUMO in Protein Phase Separation and Aggregation

Summary: Understand the molecular origin of how ubiquitin and SUMO protein chains influence the propensity of different multidomain proteins to undergo phase separations and aggregation. To achieve this, I employ an integrative approach combining multiscale molecular simulations, data-driven machine learning techniques and theory from equilibrium and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics.
